2016-Present – Martin-Baker America, Inc – IT Supervisor
Responsible for all IT operations in the US for Martin-Baker. Martin-Baker America consists of approximately 130 employees based in two offices as well as 10 remote field service engineers on air bases around the United States. Supervises a knowledgeable team of support employees as well as maintains all US based network and server infrastructure. Ensures compliance with corporate governance and policies from our main office located in the United Kingdom. Maintains a yearly budget, and sources equipment and maintenance contracts. Travels domestically and internationally to fulfill goals and objectives. Environment consists of 50-60 Hyper-V virtualized servers, 6 Hyper-V physical nodes, 20 physical servers, and a HP 3Par SAN. Environment is a mixed Environment running various server operating systems.
2012-2016 – 1ST SUMMIT BANK – Network Administrator
Managed and administered corporate network including but not limited to: servers, all networking equipment, desktops, and peripherals. Environment consisted of approximately twenty servers, 250 users, 50 printers/copiers/scanners, among 16 branches. Configured, tested, and monitored all of the internal Cisco networking equipment, and managed the corporate MPLS network between branches. Established and enforced firewall policies, and MS group policies, to maintain a safe and sound internal network. Made purchasing decisions as well as influenced budget numbers from year to year. Acted as a member of the helpdesk fielding customer calls and computer troubleshooting. Member of the Continuous Improvement Team, which focused on customer satisfaction and promoting a quality work environment.
2010-2012 – Richland School District – Technology Technician
Responsible for help desk requests that came into the technology office. Responsible for aiding teachers and students in the use of technology during the school day. Maintained system operations for different servers ranging from SUSE Linux to Microsoft Servers 2003 and 2008. Setup Microsoft KMS server to run licensing for school district computers. Setup and maintained Novell Zenworks server which ran all district login and security policies. Also was responsible for troubleshooting and repairing servers as needed, including staying extra time to keep systems running. Environment consisted of thirty servers, 1,500 students and teachers, and a large number of printers/copiers/faxes across two buildings.
